Inspired by Donna Haraways String Figures theory. She asserts in her book Staying with the Truoble ‘String Figures are like stories; they propose and enact patterns for participants to inhabit, somehow, on a vulnerable and wounded earth. To do string figures, you have to somehow pass on patterns; take the risk of letting go, take the risk of your hands to be passive to receive a pattern. As well as to pass on some kind of knot or line that was not there before. This is a way of engaging in a world that I think is a part of art, philosophy, biology, or really part of being an earthling. This is action and passion, not just living, but living and dying: becoming with, composing and decomposing’
